Description
Name the Emoticon - Sports Edition is a card game that anyone can take part in. Think of the picture round from a sports trivia quiz… well, we’ve taken that and turned it into an entire game! Because, let’s face it, that’s everyone’s favourite round anyway…
Players compete to work out the meaning behind the emojis on the card - making sure to take turns, in the interests of fairness. Some cards just show emojis that represent a sport. But others display combinations that represent sporting events, venues or athletes. And those require more specialist sporting knowledge.
However, to give everyone a sporting chance, we’ve included only the most famous sports, events and superstars from the world of professional sports. Like this guy... 🏃♂️ ⚡️ 🇯🇲
If you think you know what it is, call it out ahead of your competitors to claim the card as your prize. One card is worth one point. And at the end of the game, the player with the most is the winner.
If you don’t know what it is, just have a guess. Our tip is to say what you see. You never know, a shot in the dark can sometimes bring home the gold. And if you’re wrong? Well, at least you’ll have given your competitors something to laugh at.
